JKR Sarawak RoadCARE Launching Ceremony

YBhg. Datu Ir. Haji Zuraimi Bin Haji Sabki, Director of Public Works had launched JKR Sarawak RoadCARE at Bilik Muhibbah, JKR Headquarters. This initiative was introduced in order to make it easier for the general public to channel their complaints with information and photos so that the exact location can be immediately identified and action can be taken as soon as possible.

Director of Public Works said that the public complaint on Whatsapp platform, which is accessible through smartphones, will become another alternative for the existing channels and will be more user friendly and customer centric. This is in line with the department's aim to deliver the best services to the public especially on the road maintenance aspect.

According to him, this special public complaint platform will be utilizing the Whatsapp application and will be reachable through the number +6011-70171777 and +6011-70172777 for the benefit of road users. This mobile application will allow complaints that have been received to be processed in a faster and more systematic manner. Feedbacks will also be given to the public as quickly as possible.

Also present during the launching ceremony were Ir. Richard anak Tajan, Deputy Director (Assets Management), Ir. Wisil anak Lichok, Deputy Director (Corporate Affairs), Ting Sie Loh, Head of Assets, Ir. Awang Mohd. Fadillah Bin Awang Redzuan, Assistant Director (Road & Civil Engineering Assets), Divisional Engineers, officers from JKR Headquarters as well as Federal & State Road Concessionnaires.
