Launching Ceremony - Limbang Museum

Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak, had officiated the launching ceremony for Limbang Museum this morning in conjunction with his 72nd birthday. The construction of Limbang Museum, which comprises Administrative Gallery and Development Gallery, had started in 2019. With the completion of this museum, it will become a place that will showcase the administrative and development history since the Brooke era, followed by the socio-economic changes in Limbang, Trusan and Lawas.


Prior to the launch, Yang Berusaha Ir. Richard Anak Tajan, Director of Public Works Sarawak had briefed YAB Premier of Sarawak with regards to projects that are currently under implementation in Limbang dan Lawas, such as:

1. Cadangan Pembinaan Jalan Berkembar (Dual Carriageway) Untuk Integrated Administrative Centre (IAC), Limbang;

2. Proposed Lawas Administration Office Complex, Limbang Division, Sarawak;

3. Construction And Completion Of Integrated Administration Centre (IAC) Limbang, Limbang Division;

4. Proposed Limbang Airport Runway Extension.


Also present during the ceremony were Dato Sri Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, State Secretary of Sarawak, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts Sarawak, Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Minister of Rural Development II & Parliamentary Member (Limbang), Datuk Dr. Abdul Rahman Ismail, Deputy Minister for Modernisation Of Agriculture And Regional Development (Modernisation Of Agriculture) & ADUN Bukit Kota, Sebi Abang, Resident (Limbang), distinguished guests, top management of JKR Sarawak and staff from various government agencies.
