Team Building Program, Pan Borneo Highway Branch

The Pan Borneo Highway Branch of Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sarawak organized a team-building program themed Synergy in Action, held at Damai Beach Resort from 4 to 6 October 2024. The program aimed to strengthen collaboration and communication among staff while enhancing efficiency in the execution of high-profile ongoing projects.

In his opening address, Ir. Wisil anak Lichok, Deputy Director (Infrastructure), emphasized that synergy is the key to success in every project. He stated, "When we work together, combining our expertise and talents, we create a synergy capable of delivering superior outcomes. We are stronger when united." He also highlighted the importance of communication and mutual understanding in achieving set objectives.

The three-day program featured various activities, including ice-breaking sessions, team challenges, and communication workshops, all designed to strengthen interpersonal relationships and foster teamwork. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak, in his closing remarks, reinforced the critical role of synergy in infrastructure project success. He remarked, "By embedding the concept of 'synergy in action,' we can better navigate challenges and drive excellence in every aspect of our work." With the program's conclusion, participants are expected to apply their learnings to enhance collaboration and ensure the success of current and future projects.

The closing ceremony was attended by Ir. Wisil anak Lichok, Deputy Director (Infrastructure); Puan Josenthiana anak Manggie, Deputy Director (Human Resources and Corporate Affairs); Encik Indra Sakti bin Haron, Senior Principal Assistant Director (Pan Borneo Highway); and staff of the Pan Borneo Highway Branch, JKR Sarawak.
