Minister of Food Industry, Commodities and Regional Development Sarawak, YB Dato Sri Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, who is also the State Assemblyman for N.69 Kemena, conducted a site visit to the Batang Kemena Bridge Project in Sebauh. During the visit, he received a detailed briefing from YBrs. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Dr. Cassidy Anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak, who outlined the latest project developments and the measures being taken to ensure that construction remains on schedule.
The 728.56-metre bridge project has now achieved 60.44 percent progress and is expected to be completed by the end of December 2025. Once completed, the bridge is anticipated to enhance infrastructure connectivity and improve mobility for residents in the surrounding areas.
