Road Safety Campaign in Conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Ir. Ts. Cassidy Anak Morris, Deputy Director (Infrastructure) representing Director of Public Work Sarawak had launched the Road Safety Campaign in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri. This campaign was intended to increase public awareness especially the road users on the importance of road safety during the festive season. Those who are using Pan Borneo Highway are reminded to comply to the 90km/h speed limit that had been imposed as well as to be more cautious whenever they are nearby the P-turn junctions. The safety briefing was delivered by Encik Andrew Ngayom, Safety & Health Officer, Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak Management.
To conclude the ceremony, 300 goodie bags which contain brochures on road safety were distributed to the road users in order to improve their awareness. Also present during the event were officers from JKR Sarawak, PDRM, consultants and contractors.
