Special Meeting with Contractors and Consultants at JKR Sri Aman

A special meeting with Contractors and Consultants had been conducted at JKR Sri Aman earlier today. The meeting was chaired by Ir. Ts. Richard anak Tajan, Director of Public Works Sarawak. The meeting discussed the project progress and current issues that had been faced by the contractors such as relocation of the existing utilities and high risk slopes. The affected projects are:

a) Penggantian Jambatan yang Melibatkan Axle Load Sempit dan Uzur di Negeri Sarawak - Menggantikan Jambatan FQ025/012/00 Batang Lemanak, Lubok Antu; dan

b) Projek Jalan dari Bukit Balau ke Banting, Sri Aman.

Director of Public Works had emphasized on the importance of early project planning and proper coordination between departments, agencies and other relevant authorities in order to ensure the seamless execution of the projects.

Also present during the meeting were Ir. Ts. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, Deputy Director (Infrastructure), Ts. Chang Kueh Chin, Ag. Deputy Director (Assets), Ir. Bong Yan Phing, Senior Principal Assistant Director (Bridges & Riverine Structure), Sr. Isabel Sim Tseu Yu, Senior Principal Assistant Director (Quantity Surveying), Ts. Norman Jan, Senior Principal Assistant Director (Corporate Planning), Ir. Ts. Minjo ak Simanding, JKR Divisional Engineer (Sri Aman) and officers from JKR Headquarters and JKR Sri Aman.
