1 Million Safe-Manhours Without Lost Time Injury (LTI) Celebration - Marudi Bridge

YB Datuk Dr. Penguang Manggil, Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government I (Public Health and. Housing) had officiated the launching ceremony for 1 Million Safe-Manhours Without Lost Time Injury (LTI) Celebration Direct Negotiated Contract Remaining Works For Proposed Marudi Bridge Over Batang Baram Miri, Sarawak. The briefing to the Deputy Minister was delivered by Ir. Stephen Ung Neng Hui, Divisional Engineer (JKR Miri).

In his speech, Deputy Minister congratulated everyone for achieving the indicator for 1 Million Safe-Manhours Without Lost Time Injury (LTI) by not having any incident on project site. This shows that the safety of our workers on the construction site is always taken care of. He also said that he is very satisfied on the achievement in terms of the project progress which currently stood at 86.31% and is expected to be completed by December 2024. People are putting high hopes on the construction of Marudi Bridge as it is a very high impact project and will become an important connection to link Marudi people to other divisions in Sarawak.

Also present during the ceremony were Heads of Department, Senior Principal Assistant Directors, community leaders and officers in JKR Sarawak.
