Director of Public Works Sarawak Mandate to JKR Sarawak Official Vehicle Drivers

YBrs. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works had delivered his mandate to all of the official vehicle drivers in JKR Sarawak earlier today. The ceremony was intended to ensure that all JKR Sarawak drivers will be involved and have proper understanding on the direction of the department in delivering high quality services. Dr. Cassidy reminded all the attendees that JKR Sarawak will never be where we are today if we do not acknowledge the efforts that had been contributed by all of our drivers.

Therefore, he emphasized that all of the drivers must take care of their image, always dress neatly and maintain their discipline level throughout their service. Dr. Cassidy also urged them to always be ready to do their work and give the utmost priority on the safety of their passengers, so that they can arrive at their destination safely and comfortably. Besides that, the drivers had also been reminded to utilize technology through applications such as Waze and Google Map, which will allow them to take the best route possible. The cleanliness of the vehicles should also be preserved while making sure that the maintenance services are done as per scheduled.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Directors, Senior Principal Assistant Directors and senior officers from JKR Sarawak.
