BIM Sharing Session in JKR Malaysia

Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak had led the delegation of JKR Sarawak during the knowledge sharing session on the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in JKR Malaysia. The briefing on BIM was delivered by Ir. Atikah binti Zakaria, Director (Complex Project Management, JKR Malaysia).
The purpose of this sharing session is to learn about BIM implementation in JKR which covers the development processes, challenges, issues and current impacts. This will also allow both JKR Sarawak and JKR Malaysia to strategically collaborate to strengthen the utilization of BIM for projects implemented by JKR Sarawak. Also present during the visit were Hjh. Sharifah Liz Farawati bte Wan Omar, Deputy Director (Building & Specialist), Ts. Meehan ak Jorai, Deputy Director (Technical Services), Senior Principal Assistant Directors, officers from JKR Malaysia and JKR Sarawak.
