In one of the agendas under his site visit program, YB Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Deputy Premier Sarawak, had also chaired Project Monitoring Meeting (Rural Roads Network Project) with JKR and YBs in Bintulu Division at JKR Bintulu Divisional Office earlier today. Project briefing was delivered by Ir. Ts. Dayang Marlinda Binti Awang Omar, Assistant Divisional Engineer (JKR Bintulu) especially for project status under Projek Rakyat, State Projects and Federal Projects implemented in Bintulu Division.
YB Datuk Amar in his speech had emphasized that his attendance with Ministry of Infrastructure & Ports Development (MIPD), through JKR Sarawak today, was to acquire feedbacks on project performance, infrastructure issues in Bintulu, especially at the villages and longhouses. By identifying the affected locations, suitable program will be planned to construct or upgrade roads and bridges in order to provide reliable connectivity of the road networks especially for the rural areas.
Also present were YB Datuk Ir. Aidel bin Lariwoo, Deputy Minister (MIPD), YB Dato Majang Anak Renggi, Deputy Minister (MIPD), ADUN N.70 Samalaju, YB Dato Sri John Sikie Anak Tayai, Minister at Premier Department, ADUN N.60 Kakus, YB Encik Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, ADUN N.66 Murum, JKR Sarawak Top Management and officers from various departments and agencies in Sarawak Government.
