Deputy Premier of Sarawak Visit - Sibu Division

Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Deputy Premier Sarawak, Second Minister for Finance and New Economy & Minister for Infrastructure and Port Development Sarawak had commenced the final day of going on the ground program by visiting the following project sites:
a) Projek Membina Jalan Dari Sibu Jaya ke Jalan Kong Yit Khim, Sibu, Sarawak; and
b) Proposed Construction & Completion of Pasi Road to Sibu/Tanjung Manis Road including Batang Rajang Bridge, Sarikei.
In his speech, YB Datuk Amar had urged the contractor to complete the projects as per schedule, in line with our goal to acheive zero sick project in Sarawak. Once completed, these projects will improve the road network in this region as well as saving more time for the road users and strengthening the socioeconomic development of the people.
Also present were YB Datuk Ir. Aidel bin Lariwoo, Deputy Minister (MIPD), YB Dato' Sri Huang Tiong Sii, P208 Sarikei, YB Datuk Ding Kuong Hing, N.46 Meradong, YB Tan Sri William Mawan anak Ikom, N.47 Pakan, Datu Chiew Chee Yau, Permanent Secretary (MIP), Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak, JKR Sarawak Top Management, officers from MIPD, JKR Sarawak, consultant and contractor.
