Letter of Acceptance for Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak Maintenance

To ensure that Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak will be efficiently maintained, a ceremony to hand over the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to the contractor for Penyenggaraan Jalan Persekutuan Lebuhraya Pan Borneo (LPB) Sarawak was held at Kompleks Kerja Raya earlier today. During this ceremony, Syarikat PBH Asset Management Sdn. Bhd. had been appointed to execute the maintenance works for Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak with the duration of 3 years.
This concessionaire will be responsible to implement maintenance works which will include Routine Work, Periodic Pavement Works, Periodic Non-Pavement Works and Emergency Works based on approval from time to time. Meanwhile, JKR Sarawak had also been appointed as Ministry of Works' strategic partner who will act on behalf of Malaysia Government on matters that are related to operation, maintenance and supervision of works to ensure that all of the activities are in compliance with the agreed terms and conditions.
Also present were Dato' Zahrul Hakim Bin Abdullah, Deputy Chief Secretary (Policy & Development), Ministry of Works, Indra Sakti Haron, Senior Principal Assistant Director (Pan Borneo Highway) and officers from JKR Sarawak.
