JKR Sabah Visit - Telok Melano, Layby Lundu, Borneo Cultures Museum

JKR Sabah Pan Borneo Sector had conducted a technical visit to Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak (Telok Melano to Sematan). The purpose of the visit is to share knowledge and experience throughout the construction process of the highway. This stretch of road had managed to shorten the journey duration from Sematan to Telok Melano, which used to take approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes by boats.
After that, the group visited LAYBY Lundu. This layby is one of the many laybys constructed along the Pan Borneo Highway. It consists of toilet, surau and gazebo.
Then, the group visited Borneo Cultures Museum. A sharing session was held between both JKR Sabah and JKR Sarawak with regards to the construction of this museum. The briefing was delivered by architects from JKR Sarawak.
