Seminar Pengurusan Aset Menyeluruh - Roadmap to Asset Excellence

The Director of Public Works Sarawak attended the Seminar Pengurusan Aset Menyeluruh held from 24 to 25 February 2025 in Putrajaya. The event was organised by the Cawangan Perancangan Aset Bersepadu and officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Works. The seminar aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of systematic and sustainable approaches to asset management to ensure maximum efficiency in asset planning and administration. Participants were also given the opportunity to explore technological innovations and the latest strategies through sessions such as BIM in Design, Smart Building and Technology Advancement, which support sustainable development and digital transformation within the asset sector.

The seminar further served as a platform for sharing best practices in design, project implementation and facility management. Key topics including IBS in Construction, Lean Construction and Facility Management (FM) were discussed in depth to strengthen asset management effectiveness across both public and private sectors. This initiative is expected to pave the way for a more comprehensive and forward-looking approach to asset management.
