Director of Public Works Sarawak Visit to Projek Jalan Raya Berkembar ke Lapangan Terbang Bintulu

The Director of Public Works Sarawak, YBhg. Datu Adj. Prof. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, conducted a Project Empowerment Visit to the Dual Carriageway Road Project to Bintulu Airport to review its current progress and ensure that implementation is carried out in accordance with the established plans and specifications. The project involves the construction of a 4.1-kilometre dual carriageway designed in line with JKR U5 standards, aimed at enhancing safety, comfort, and traffic efficiency to the airport.
To date, the project has achieved 9.82 per cent physical progress and is expected to be fully completed by October 2027. The visit also provided an opportunity for technical briefings and discussions with the project team to strengthen coordination and expedite the delivery of outcomes for the public.
