Bubur Lambuk Distribution & Iftar Ceremony by JKR Samarahan

The 2026 Bubur Lambuk Distribution and Iftar Program organized by the Islamic Family Association of JKR (PKIJ) Samarahan was held with blessings and a spirit of togetherness in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. The program demonstrated strong communal cooperation among JKR Samarahan staff, regardless of race or religion, reflecting values of harmony, unity, and sincerity in sharing sustenance. The collective preparation of Bubur Lambuk symbolized the enduring spirit of community cohesion and mutual respect.

A total of 18 government agencies in the Samarahan Division received Bubur Lambuk distributions as a gesture of goodwill and strategic collaboration. Among the recipients were the IPD Kota Samarahan, Kota Samarahan Fire and Rescue Station, Sarawak Land and Survey Department, Samarahan Division Treasury Department, Samarahan Division Irrigation and Drainage Department, Samarahan District Court, IADA Samarahan, Samarahan District Education Office, Sarawak Customs and Protocol Council, Sarawak Islamic Religious Council, Samarahan Municipal Council, Samarahan District Office, Samarahan Resident Office, Malaysian Civil Defence Force, Samarahan Division Agriculture Department, Malaysian Immigration Department (Samarahan Branch), Bumiputera Court Samarahan, and Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Tun Abdul Razak.

Key highlights of the program included the recitation of Yaasin, speeches by the PKIJ Samarahan Chairman, En. Ali bin Lotot, and the Samarahan Division Engineer, Ir. Ts. Mahathir bin Jokeni. The event also featured the presentation of Ramadan Hampers to asnaf among current and former JKR staff, emphasizing care and welfare. The program continued with congregational Isyak and Terawih prayers, followed by moreh, before concluding at around 10:00 p.m.This noble initiative aimed to foster blessings, strengthen ties of friendship, and further enhance strategic relationships between JKR Samarahan staff and partner agencies in the Samarahan Division, in line with the values of togetherness and the ongoing spirit of public service.
