JKR Sarawak to Host Hari Profesion Teknikal Negara (HPTN)

An engagement session in preparation for Hari Profesion Teknikal Negara (HPTN) was held and chaired by YBhg. Dato' Ir. Ibrahim bin Esa, Deputy Director General of Public Works (Building Sector). The session aimed to discuss early planning and coordination for the organisation of the programme. Prior to the session, the Director of Public Works Sarawak, YBhg. Datu Adj. Prof. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, together with the JKR Sarawak delegation, was received by Ir. Mohd Shahrom bin Ahmad Saman, Deputy Director General of Public Works (Infrastructure Sector).

This year marks the first time JKR Sarawak will serve as the host for Hari Profesion Teknikal Negara (HPTN), reflecting recognition of the department’s capability in strengthening the role of technical professions at the national level. During the session, the Director of Public Works Sarawak presented the planning and preparations undertaken by JKR Sarawak to ensure the successful implementation of the programme and to deliver a positive impact on the development of technical professions in the country.
