A project handover ceremony for the construction of a new school building block at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Bahagia Jaya Teku was successfully held as part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to upgrade dilapidated school infrastructure and provide a safer and more conducive learning environment. The newly completed block comprises six classrooms, along with improved toilet facilities for teachers and students, enhanced learning spaces, and upgraded basic amenities to better serve the needs of pupils and school staff.

The handover ceremony was officiated by the Yang Berhormat ADUN for N55 Nangka, YB Datuk Dr. Annuar bin Rapaee, who formally presented the facility to the school, represented by the Headmaster of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Bahagia Jaya Teku. Also in attendance were Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Chieng Siong Ming, Divisional Engineer of JKR Sibu, technical officers, contractor representatives, and members of the school community. During the ceremony, the school expressed its appreciation to all parties involved in the successful completion of the project.
With the completion of the new block, students can now benefit from a more comfortable, safe, and conducive learning environment. The project reflects the continued commitment of the Government and Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sarawak to ensuring that all students have access to quality educational facilities and opportunities for learning.
