Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sarawak organised the One Month Pledge No. 4/2026 Signing Session on 27 April 2026 at the Directorate Meeting Room, Level 19, Wisma Saberkas, Kuching. The initiative is aimed at strengthening project governance and securing contractors’ early commitment towards achieving targeted work progress within the first month of project implementation.

Projects included in the One Month Pledge session comprised:

a) Retender: Naik Taraf Infrastruktur Bekalan Elektrik (Pemasangan Sistem Solar) di Klinik Kesihatan Nanga Chemanong, Kapit, Sarawak

b) Pembinaan Blok Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) (6BD) serta Kemudahan-Kemudahan Lain Mengikut Piawaian di Sekolah Kebangsaan Asyakirin, Sarawak

c) Cadangan Pembinaan Tabika KEMAS Kampung Lubok Tuan di Lot 544, Blok 9, Danau Land District, Medamit, Limbang, Sarawak

d) Pembinaan Kuarters Kakitangan bagi Menggantikan Kuarters Sedia Ada Jabatan Penyiaran Limbang, Sarawak

e) Retender: Cadangan Pembinaan Pos Baharu Kawalan Keselamatan Sempadan Darat oleh Briged Sarawak Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) di STASS, Bau, Sarawak

JKR Sarawak will closely monitor the commitments pledged by the contractors to ensure that all projects are implemented in accordance with the approved plans and schedules. The implementation of the One Month Pledge reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to enhancing project delivery efficiency, minimising the risk of delays, and ensuring that development benefits are delivered effectively and with meaningful impact to the people of Sarawak.
