Memorandum of Understanding Signing Between JKR Sarawak and UTS

Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sarawak and University of Technology Sarawak (UTS) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, marking a significant step in fostering collaboration between academia and industry. The signing ceremony, held during an official visit by the Director of JKR Sarawak, reflects both organisations shared commitment to advancing human capital development, academic excellence, and innovative research.
The MoU aims to establish cooperation in areas such as student internships, staff and student exchanges, joint research projects, and workforce development programmes. Both parties will also explore consulting opportunities and resource-sharing for project implementation. During his speech, the Director of JKR Sarawak highlighted the department's dedication to ensuring the successful implementation of the MoU objectives. He emphasised the importance of collaboration in producing skilled graduates and driving innovation to benefit Sarawak’s development.
