Director of Public Works Sarawak paid a courtesy visit to YS PKPjB Jamri bin Masran, Director of Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia Negeri Sarawak, as part of efforts to strengthen strategic collaboration between the two agencies. The visit focused on discussions regarding issues related to Bomba approvals for projects undertaken by the Public Works Department Sarawak, with particular emphasis on ensuring full compliance with fire safety requirements in all infrastructure development projects across the state.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of close cooperation between the Public Works Department Sarawak and Jabatan Bomba to expedite project approvals, especially those involving government buildings, public facilities and high-impact development initiatives. Strengthening this strategic relationship will enhance project management efficiency and ensure that fire safety considerations remain a top priority.
