Director of Public Works Sarawak Visit to Jalan Pakan/Ulu Kota Project

Director of Public Works Sarawak, together with YB Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom, recently visited the Jalan Pakan/Ulu Kota development project in the Pakan district, Sarikei. The visit aimed to review the progress of works under Phase 3 of the project, as well as the replacement of seven temporary bridges under Phase 1 with permanent RC (Reinforced Concrete) bridges.

This project forms part of the broader effort to enhance infrastructure in Sarawak, particularly in rural areas, to improve connectivity and raise the quality of life for local communities. YB Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom also took the opportunity to engage with residents and listen to their views on the development taking place in the area.
